1. Simply as a visitor. You can read all the posted notices and organizations, keep up with the discussion forums, check out the calendar of events, and enjoy the photographs.

2. Become a registered member. As a member, you can participate actively in all the online events. You can post your own notices, join in the discussion forums, add your event to the calendar, upload your own photographs, and subscribe (or make your own) email lists.

Becoming a Registered Member

1. Click on the Register Now! link (also shown on the left side of the screen).

2. You will be asked to read and accept the Terms of Service agreement.

3. You will then be asked to fill in a profile page. The minimum information you must provide is:
   • A user ID, which can be kept private or used as your screen name.
   • An optional screen name which will be your public persona.
   • A password (always kept private).
   • Your name (optionally made public).
   • An email address (optionally made public).

   Additional information such as your address, phone, birthdate, interests, etc. is completely optional. All information, except for the screen name, can be kept private. You are the one who chooses to make your information public (such as name, email address, address, etc).

That's it! You are now a member of this community. As you peruse the site, you will notice that more options are now open to you. You can click on links and icons that will let you post information and otherwise participate in the site.
